For those of us who live without eyebrows and eyelashes leaving the house, or presenting ourselves on Zoom for meetings with friends or colleagues can be more time-consuming and, at least for me, stressful, than anyone needs.
Enter Brows by Bossy annd Bella Brow to the rescue! My sister turned me on to Brows by Bossy (browsbybossy.com) where you can shop for a sheet of temporary eyebrow tattoo, specifying which shape and color you want. I placed an order for dark brown and it made me look like a leprechaun as they’re more auburn on my skin, and the company was great about sending me the arched brow shape in black.
Bella Brow (which I found in Walmart) is great for filling in the holes when the tattoo starts to fade. The microblading pen is easier to take off using soap and water, while the tattoo needs a bit more cajoling, but give it time and some cooking oil/hot water and soap and a good scrub of a washcloth and you’re back to baseline in no time.
While I still have my eyelashes, I’ve been wearing Moxie Lash for my last few YouTube videos. They’re a bit over the top for me to wear every day, but if you’re going on a date, have a special occasion, or want your eyes to pop in pictures these lashes are fabulous!
Brows by Bossy and Bella Brow are pretty affordable at less than $10, while I think the Moxie lashes are a bit on the pricey side. Since I got them for free I don’t know. You’re not going to find them in the makeup isle at CVS for CVS prices, but for the right occasion, or if you’re just wanting to splurge, I think they’re worth it!
